To a friend

Quoted from The Leap Years:

Jeremy: It's hard to resist the temptation of loving someone for the sake of being with someone, so I think you are really brave to wait for the right one to come along. People don't want to be alone.

Just watched the movie and yes, i still cried 3/4 of the show, just like 4 years ago:) It's every time when they are going to meet at the same place, same time that makes me wanna tear. It's like 4 years? That's like 48 months!! Who in the world have sucha great faith to wait for someone that you don't really know, without any contact knowing that he/she will keep the promise? Yea i know, it's a novel after all.

I have ever thought if my romance story will be like this movie. Hahaha i don't think it will really happen, since i'm quite a forgetful person.

Recently just contacted a friend of mine. Somewhat he texted me and we started to talk about the past. All along i've thought i know him thru friendster but it was thru a random sms. He was actually rather lonely and wanted to text some random people and somewhat he texted me:) I've no idea how come i will reply him in the first place, it's a puzzle. We started to text and exchange our friendster and find him quiteeee handsome. Started to hang out and stuff. Until this very day that i've said something that hurt him, so we ended our platonic friendship. Even though we've only know each other for 3 weeks, however, it felt as if we've known for years! That's a magical feeling, trust me.

Well, we all have our choices. He chose to go with another girl and i've chose to move on. Back then it wasn't easy but i think this would be some kind of "the leap year" type of relationship. I didn't know i had mine before the movie was out! Heeee.

And yes, i'm happily attached to my boyfriend now:) We too, had our own love story. Till next time!

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2 NKJV)

Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. (Romans 12:2 MSG)
